Why You Joined the Chameleon: I joined because I loved poetry and because I was invited as a freshman by former editor-in-chief Mary Beth Davis.

Why You Loved the Chameleon: I enjoyed the community and freedom that came with creating something meant to be enjoyed by so many people.

Favorite Chameleon Project: For me, it was the translation works where Spanish students translated Norwich student poems from English into Spanish.

Most Proud of: Getting my first piece of narrative poetry published.

Current Job: Army officer and public school teacher

How the Chameleon Helped Your Career: I’m currently the yearbook advisor at the school where I teach at.

Current Bio: First Lieutenant Faith Odegbami, an alumna of Norwich University, serves as a Reserve Army Logistics Officer and public-school teacher. Daily, she is applying her skills in complex operations, while simultaneously shaping young minds as an educator. Outside of work, Faith is a mom who nurtures a profound creative spirit, beautifully capturing the natural world through her passion for wildlife photography. An avid reader and writer, Faith successfully blends her military precision with her love for storytelling and education.
